Kareena Kapoor Khan, who has impressed and entertained her audience with her sizzling onscreen chemistry with
Akshay Kumar, recently revealed why she feels weird to romance the actor.
In a chat with Akshay’s wife
Twinkle Khanna on her web portal, Kareena stated that she is romancing all of her sister Karisma Kapoor’s co-stars. The actress revealed that during Akshay’s first shot, she was in her school uniform. According to her, it shows how amazing he is rather than her.
However, Twinkle disagreed and added that it also shows that men can have longer careers than women. To which Kareena quickly added that they are now proving them wrong. Twinkle also highlighted how Kareena remains one of the top actresses we have in Bollywood even after 20 years.
Further, Kareena jokingly added that she would still be co-starring with Akshay when she is 75 because he would still be working. The actress also added that Akshay has told her that he is already planning a two-hero film with her son Taimur Ali Khan.
Akshay and Kareena have starred together in films like, ‘Ajnabee’, ‘Talaash: The Hunt Begins...’, ‘Dosti: Friends Forever’, ‘Tashan’, ‘Kambakkht Ishq’ and ‘Good Newwz’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena is currently awaiting the release of her upcoming film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ co-starring Aamir Khan in the lead role. The film is slated to hit the theatres on April 14, 2022, on the auspicious occasion of Baisakhi.
Akshay, on the other hand, has an interesting line-up of films that include ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Prithviraj’, ‘Cindrella’, ‘OMG 2’ and others.
