Miss Universe 2021
crown home. With this win, Harnaaz is now only the third Indian to win the title after
Sushmita Sen won the crown in 1994 and
Lara Dutta in 2000.
Celebrating the big news, Bollywood celebs are taking turns on social media to hail Harnaaz for her big win. Leading the bandwagon is
Priyanka Chopra, the former Miss World, who took to her Twitter handle and congratulated the winner saying, "Congratulations @HarnaazSandhu03… bringing the crown home after 21 years!"
Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a glimpse from the crowning moment of Harnaaz and wrote, “Congratulations to the newly crowned #MissUniverse @HarnaazSandhu_03.”
Sharing the same video,
Neha Dhupia added, “Congratulations @harnaazsandhu_30…you have made us all so proud.”
On the other hand, actor Neil Nitin Mukesh shared a picture of Harnaaz from the finale and captioned it, “Congratulations on the Big Win @harnaazSandhu_03”.

Meanwhile, hailing from Chandigarh, Harnaaz celebrated her big win in true desi style saying, "Chak de fatte India!' After taking her first walk as Miss Universe 2021, Harnaaz proceeded backstage where she sent out a message to all at home. In a video message, Sandhu said, " Namaste, Sat Sri Akaal universe. Thank you so much to each one of you for supporting me since day 1, always believing in me and making me feel worth this. Now this is the time to save the universe. Let's do it together. Thank you and love you."
