The director-actor-host during his conversation with Times Now, mentioned that while he and his kids were more than happy to wear purple suits, his mother simply rejected the idea, and mentioned that she has no intention of looking like a baingan at her age ( brinjal).

Talking about his mother, he went on to state that his mother surely belongs to the cool school, she knows exactly what is right and what is wrong and nothing in the world will make her do anything that her heart and mind feels wrong about. He also added that she’s made sure that Yash and Roohi are not over pampered. He also highlighted that when anyone congratulates him for how well his kids are brought up, he tells them to redirect the compliments to his mother, as he’s clueless of how he would bring up his kids without his mother.

Sharing the pictures from his party Karan wrote, “Going through a purple patch!!!! My world ….The idea of balloons are more than a decoration to me… they have always represented joy and celebration and a magical feeling of happiness ….My first film is full of them … and even now my inner child comes alive when I have them around …Am so happy to have passed on my joy of balloons to my twins … who overreact as much to them as I do….Thank you @ekalakhani for always dressing the family and to @sheldon.santos for being there to capture our moments … and the biggest hug to my children’s favourite and all our silent pillar @len5bm"
