Earlier this afternoon, he shared an inspirational note, wherein he encouraged resiliency in the case of failing. The note was seen as, “When life shuts a door… open it again. It’s a door. That’s how they work, " he said. This was a message to his fans who always wanted to see them make it, despite the hurdles.
Not so long ago, Karan Johar amusingly disclosed his present relationship status, writing, “I’m so single right now that I stood on a cliff and shouted I love you and my echo replied I just want to be friends." Karan is known for playing witty banter over relationships and often addresses his single status. In a previous conversation, he revealed, “I am single and haven’t been in a relationship for a very long time. In fact, I have been in one and a half relationships in my entire life. I can’t tell you how much I enjoy my single status. I don’t think I can change it now. Forget sharing a bathroom or bedroom or your space or schedule, I think the power of your day is with you. Your responsibility is to your children and your mom, that’s about it." He further explained that his focus was on his family, particularly his children and mother, adding that his responsibility in life lies with them, making his solo life even more fulfilling, as reported by News 18.
Recently, Karan Johar's career also made headlines with a major professional transition. He sold a 50 percent stake in his production company, Dharma Productions, to Adar Poonawalla, CEO of the Serum Institute, for a reported Rs 1000 crore. As part of this change, Karan shared a note on Instagram that read, "Whatever you are changing, you are choosing," reflecting his proactive approach to the evolving landscape of his business.
Karan Johar is all set to begin his new exciting filmmaking chapter. He is rumoured to be directing an OTT series for Netflix and marking a big debut in the OTT world. Sources even claimed that it will feature an all-women lead show and that the screenplay has already been finalized. This show will start its production in the first quarter of 2025.
