Karan Johar pens heartfelt poem for Ranveer Singh on his 40th birthday: “A rainbow burst in Bollywood’s blue”

As Bollywood’s ever-energetic powerhouse, Ranveer Singh turned 40 on July 6, his close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar made sure the day was marked with something special—and deeply personal. Taking to Instagram, Johar didn’t just wish him a happy birthday; instead, he gifted the Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani star a heartfelt poem that celebrated every shade of Ranveer's dynamic personality.


“Buoyant spirit, blazing bright, A comet streaking through the night,” Karan began, capturing the sheer energy and charisma that define Ranveer’s presence both on and off-screen.

The poem wasn’t just about Ranveer’s flamboyant fashion and dramatic flair. It went beyond the sequins and the swagger, diving into his loyalty, warmth, and love for family.


“He gives his all, his soul, his grin, such love and light he carries in,” Karan wrote. The tribute ended on a fitting note: “So here’s to Ranveer — fierce and true,
