Sharing a post on his Instagram Stories, he talked about the trio he had launched with the film 'Students of the Year'. The director expressed how grateful he is to them.

Karan dropped a picture of Varun Dhawan, Alia Bhatt, and Sidharth Malhotra from the film and added a sweet caption. In his Instagram post, KJo wrote, "They have taught me more than they will ever know (or I will give them credit for). Love to my students who inadvertently were also my teachers… @sidmalhotra @aliaabhatt @varundvn. #HappyTeachersDay."

The film, which was a huge hit among young people, marked the beginning of three hugely successful careers.
