Actor, Kapil Jhaveri who shared screen space as an protagonist along with super star Salman Khan in Bollywood film, 'Saawan... The Love Season' and later acted in films like, 'Ishq Vishk', 'Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya', 'Aatma' says that it is because he wanted to spend time with

orphaned children

and dedicate his time to them that he quit acting.
He says, "I was enjoying my acting career. I got a lot of fame after 'Ishq Vishk' and 'Dil Pardesi Ho Gaya'. I enjoyed the love, but somewhere I felt something was missing and this wasn't what I was passionate about. Then I started travelling. And I saw people who are

suffering

because of

scarcity

of

food

and medication. When I began helping them, it brought me relief and peace, the sense of doing something really good. And that made me dedicate my time to orphans and I decided to leave acting and start doing more social."

The actor has made an

NGO

since. "I now have my own NGO, one of the initiatives is to bring happiness and joy on the faces of underprivileged children. I wish to bring smiles to the children from the underprivileged strata of the society by providing meals to over 2000 children. We have also been frequently giving free rides over the city of Mumbai with an aerial view of Mumbai Darshan, which they loved immensely."
Talking about his comeback, Kapil says, "I believe destiny has already sought a path for everyone. Acting is an art inside me, which I always respect. And if situations bring back me to showbiz, I'll respect that too, but as of now no such plans on the anvil."
