Kapil Sharma’s comedy sequel 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2' faced stiff competition at the box office during its initial release. The film hit cinemas on December 12, just a week after Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar, leading to a major box-office clash. Now, the makers have announced a re-release slated for January 9, 2026, and have unveiled a brand-new Trailer 2.0.
The newly released trailer dives straight into chaos. Kapil Sharma is seen in multiple avatars — Mohan, Michel, and Mehmood — making it clear that no wedding ritual is safe from confusion. Packed with mistaken identities, rapid twists, and laugh-out-loud moments, the trailer raises the stakes significantly. With four marriages and countless lies to juggle, Kapil’s character finds himself trapped in a spiral of escalating comedic disasters.

A comedy built on confusion

Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2 follows the story of Mohan, who falls deeply in love with Sania but finds himself unable to marry her due to religious differences. To navigate the situation, he devises an outrageous plan — marrying three women from different religions: Meera, Ruhi, and Jenny. What follows is a tangled web of deceit, misunderstandings, and over-the-top comedy as Mohan struggles to keep his multiple lives from colliding.

Makers on the re-release decision

The makers believe the New Year period is the ideal time to bring the film back to theatres. Speaking to OTTplay about the decision, producer Ratan Jain said audience demand played a key role. “We’re delighted to return with a film that celebrates joy, laughter, and wholesome family entertainment,” he shared.
