Kangana Ranaut reflects on her infamous Koffee With Karan episode: 'Karan Johar chote mote local villain hai, ab to meri biopic me bade bade villain aayenge'
Kangana Ranaut recently reflected on her infamous 2017 appearance on Koffee With Karan, where she labeled Karan Johar as a “flagbearer of nepotism” and “movie mafia.” In a new interview with The Lallantop, Kangana revealed that Karan was ‘taken aback’ by her bold remarks.
During the interview, when she was reminded of her earlier comment about Karan playing a stereotypical villain in a potential biopic about her, Kangana laughed and responded, “Ab toh mere biopic mein bade level pe, bade wale villain honge. Ye chote, mote villain nahi. Local nahi! Isko abhi chota villain banayenge! Ab achche, bade bade villain aayenge mere life mein (Karan Johar is just a local villain. If my biopic is made now, there will be a bigger villain. There are bigger villains in my life now)!”
Kangana also discussed the Koffee with Karan episode, stating, “Usko pata he kartute hi uske aisa he ki usko pata he! He is very snooty, very classist. He was taken aback that I gave it back to him (He knows exactly what he does, so he knows).”
Currently, Kangana is promoting her upcoming film Emergency. In a new episode of Aap Ki Adaalat with Rajat Sharma, Kangana addressed whether Congress MP Rahul Gandhi might like her film, and responded saying, “Agar woh ghar jaakar Tom & Jerry dekhte honge toh unhe kaise samajh ayegi (If he watches Tom & Jerry at home, how will he understand my film?)"
On the other hand, Kangana revealed that Emergency is still waiting for certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) due to threats against board members. She said that this has put pressure on them not to depict the assassination of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Bhindrawale, and the Punjab riots in the film. Kangana described the situation as “unbelievable” and expressed her regret over the current state of affairs.

A woman who is fearless and isn't worried about being politically right...She has exposed what the entire world knew 'The nepotism, gangs of hypocrites ,lobbies that work at preventing meritorious actors being denied roles ....She has exposed the entire dirty corrupt unprofessional bollywood ..calling it an industry is a pathetic joke. Her recent comments regarding the "Fake farmer agitation " are also true....I am a farmer and can prove NO FARMER has the time,.inclination, ability, resource to do what the Landloards (pretending to be Farmers) did for months....real Farmers can't neglect thier fileds ,orchards ,domestic animals ( dairy animals) for even a day.The real farming community even arranges marriage times so as not to clash with thier daily farm tasks....It is the wheat growing large landlord ( whose fields are tended by poor land less Farmers often migrants ) who drives large SUV' ....Many have huge remittances coming from abroad....these fake Farmers ruined what was the attempt to improve most fundamental issiues faced by Farmers....Farming is not wheat and rice alone and about MSP...The fruit, vegetables, spices, pulses ,oilseeds ,industrial crops like sugarcane ete etc by virtue of their submissiveness allowed the Punjab wheat lobby supported by forces that did not want positive change to ruin the reform.Read allPost comment
