Panga
'. The film is being directed by
Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari
and tells the tale of a modern family that challenges the stereotypes in the society.
The shooting of the upcoming film 'Panga' already started rolling from November 11 last year. The latest news is that the lead actress Kangana Ranaut has joined the team and has started shooting for the film. Ahead of her starting the shoot, the team of 'Panga' threw a small 'Manikarnika' success party to Kangana for the tremendous success of the film.
Kangana Ranaut’s team posted a picture of a cake on Instagram, which had "158 crores ++ Congratulations" written on it. The cake was also decorated with a collage of two of her Manikarnika stills.
Kangana reprised the role of the brave woman freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai in the film. The film also happened to be Kangana's first directorial venture. The period drama also earned good numbers at the box office.
'Panga' will feature Kangana Ranaut as a national-level Kabaddi player and is based on a story of a new age family which challenges stereotypes. The film will feature actors, including Kangana Ranaut, Richa Chadha, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, and
Jassie Gill.
Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film is set to hit theatres in 2019.
