welcomed Sappo in February 2020. In a recent interview, she admitted that being with her baby this whole year had been a blessing, and that had the lockdown not been implemented, she would have probably returned to work within months of giving birth.
On the work front, Kalki is all set to work in an international project ‘Goldfish’, which will also star Neena Gupta. This will be the first time that the two will be sharing screen space and play mother-daughter. Kalki shared the news on her Instagram handle recently, where she wrote, ‘“So excited about GOLDFISH! Thrilled to be working with the actor I so deeply admire – Neena Gupta- on our first international project together! Can’t wait to kickstart the shoot.’
To be directed by Pushan Kripalani, the British-American film will be set in London and focus on the important subject of mental health.
Kalki was last seen on the big screen in Zoya Akhtar’s critically acclaimed ‘
Gully Boy
’, which also starred Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
