Kajol is hoping that audiences enjoy ‘Helicopter Eela’ as much as they enjoy ‘Avengers’

She’s often referred to as one of Bollywood’s most talented and vivacious actresses. And few would dispute that fact. Kajol, who returns to the big screen with Pradeep Sarkar’s ‘Helicopter Eela’ is excited about her role in the film.
The actress plays a doting single mother in the film and her character’s name is called Eela. Describing her role, Kajol said that she plays an extremely possessive and overprotective mom, who decided to complete her education by joining her teenage son’s college much to his embarrassment and dismay.
The film’s trailer, which released some time ago has received positive reviews with fans excited to see Kajol back on the big screen. The film, which has been produced by Ajay Devgn, also focuses on Eela’s journey as a woman who somehow loses track of her own self after becoming a mother. and her identity because of her duty as a mother.
When asked about more and more women-oriented films being helmed in the industry, Kajol said that she was open to acting in any genre because restricting herself to any one particular genre would mean limiting herself. The actress is hoping that ‘Helicopter Eela’, which releases in September, gets the same amount of love that the ‘Avengers’ films get. She admitted that while she knew her film was nothing like the Avengers, she is hoping that audiences enjoy watching the film nonetheless.
