', has received a lot of appreciation online. It all started a few months ago, when the actress casually clicked a selfie in police uniform — the look of her character in the film.
She says, “The post went viral and people actually started believing that I am a real police inspector. Some even complimented me saying I am the most beautiful

they have seen. It was flattering.”
Kainaat adds, “The post became so popular, many police stations in Punjab had to cross check their employee list to see if Bhatinda had got a new Station House Officer named Harleen Mann, my character in 'Jagga Jiunda'. I got calls from many media houses abroad, asking me if I was a real cop.”
After 'Faraar' (2015), 'Jagga Jiunda' is Kainaat’s second Punjabi film. The movie, presented by Mika Singh, also stars Daljeet Kalsi. The actress, who has also worked in Tamil and Malayalam movies, says, “As an actor, you don’t have to depend on Bollywood for good work. Indian cinema, across languages, makes quality content and there’s a plethora of good opportunities out there.”
Kainaat’s next film in the South is the sequel to the Telugu hit, 'Guntur Talkies'. She has also recently worked in a web series, 'Birthday Gift', directed by Arindam Chakraborty.
