The internet went into a tizzy recently when veteran Bollywood actor Kabir Bedi spilled secrets about his four marriages, affairs and more. It was, however, one detail of his open marriage that did more than just raise eyebrows. However, as the gossip columns state, Bedi is not the only star who ditched traditional coupling to keep things interesting. Kabir Bedi spilled the tea about his relationship with late ex-️wife Protima Gupta and how he fell in love with Parveen Babi. Dishing out details that were far from vanilla, the actor didn't just reveal that he was in an open relationship but also claimed that it was the reason for the breakdown of his marriage with Gupta. He admitted that while it was initially great, it later caused him greater anxiety, led to a lack of intimacy, and left him feeling alone, empty and dejected.

Brad Pitt's brief romance with German model, Nicole Poturalski was the talk of 2020. The two were caught sneaking out to Pitt's estate, Chateau Miraval, in the South of France for a romantic weekend. It was only later that it came to light that the 27-year-old model was reportedly in an open marriage with her businessman-husband, Roland Mary. As reports state, this was not Brad's first try at an open relationship. Angelina Jolie, who was with Brad for over a decade (and was married to him for two years), hinted that the two were not monogamous. She said in an interview that she didn't feel fidelity was absolutely essential for a relationship and claimed that they never restrict each other.

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith may be one of Hollywood's golden couples, but it hasn't been a smooth ride. Rumours sparked way back in 2003 of the Smiths having an open marriage. Jada was quoted in an interview as saying that she had permitted Will to 'do whatever you want as long as you can look at yourself in the mirror and be okay'. Buzz about their past flings resurfaced when rapper August Alsina spilled the details in his song and claimed that Will gave him his 'blessing' for the relationship.

In her tell-all memoir, Demi Moore revealed how her relationship with ex-husband Ashton Kutcher unravelled after a miscarriage and failed in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) attempts. She stated that it was Kutcher who asked her to introduce another member into their marriage. “I wanted to show him how great and fun I could be,” Moore wrote, adding that she later realised the idea was a "mistake".

Nick Cannon's relationship with Kim Kardashian was back in the spotlight recently after reports claimed that the star was expecting two children with two different women, while officially dating two others. The actor and host has been open about his ideas of marriage, and not believing in monogamy, since his divorce from Mariah Carey. Reports in the past had claimed that Cannon asked his then-girlfriend, Kim Kardashian for an open marriage. While Kim was expected to be monogamous, the same rules didn't apply to him.

Fashion designer and filmmaker, Tom Ford has had one of the longest-standing relationships in Hollywood with his journalist husband, Richard Buckley. It was love at first sight for the couple who met over 30 years ago. The two even got hitched in 2014, but according to Ford, their marriage may not be strictly monogamous. The designer said in an interview that he believes that monogamy is 'artificial' and that he didn't think it was something that came naturally to him and his husband.
