Junaid Khan juggles 8-hour shoot and evening rehearsals for his upcoming play

Aamir Khan’s son Junaid Khan, who recently made his debut in cinema with ‘Maharaj’ seems to be on a double shift these days! The actor is reportedly doing so to cope with his demanding schedule.

Junaid Khan, who has an upcoming film with Khushi Kapoor, is also occupied with another project, a play. As per a report by Mid-Day, Junaid Khan is doing an eight-hour shift, and then heading for the rehearsals. The upcoming play titled ‘Strictly Unconventional’ is scheduled for September 1 at NCPA.

To manage both his projects, the star kid seems to have working around the clock. According to the source, Junaid Khan is working on Advait Chandan’s directorial during the day, and evenings are dedicated to his upcoming play. The actor is deeply invested in theatre and wants to pursue the stage as well.


Meanwhile, Junaid Khan’s upcoming film with Khushi Kapoor is touted to be a rom-com. The second shoot schedule went on floors in the Delhi-NCR region in June. Directed by Advait Chandan, the romantic comedy is an adaptation of the blockbuster Tamil film ‘Love Today’.

Circling back to Junaid's acting debut, his performance in 'Maharaj' grabbed eyeballs in no time. The 'Maharaj' director had earlier revealed how Junaid used to travel by auto and also revealed that the star kid was once denied entry at the YRF studios, as the security personnel didn’t believe he was an actor.
