What happens when a superstar dad meets his cheeky, aspiring actor son in a parody promo? A lot of laughs, a little trolling, and some nostalgic nods. Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan come together in a fun new promo for Sitaare Zameen Par, where Junaid reveals he rejected a ₹100 crore film to premiere his father’s movie on YouTube—for just Rs 1100. Aamir will be seen recreating scenes from his 1994 classic Andaz Apna Apna as a tribute. The promo will also feature filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi watching RS Prasanna's Sitaare Zameen Par online. In one scene, Aamir Khan adds a twist to an iconic Andaz Apna Apna dialogue originally delivered by Deven Verma. The actor also pokes fun at himself, referencing past flops like Thugs of Hindostan and Laal Singh Chaddha.

Mock regret and 'nepo kid' jibe

In the promo, Aamir humorously reflects on past choices, saying he once followed his son's advice to do a multi-starrer and ended up doing Thugs of Hindostan, which brought him endless criticism. He adds that remaking Forrest Gump as Laal Singh Chaddha cost him both respect and money.Junaid is set to unveil his quirky plan to bring Sitaare Zameen Par to audiences at home. In the promo, the Loveyapa actor proudly tells his father, “Aapko sun kar khushi hogi pitaji, maine Rs 100 crore ka offer reject kar diya hai. Aur aapki film Sitaare Zameen Par ko YouTube par daal diya hai sirf Rs 100 mein.” Aamir, taken aback, reacts in mock disbelief and jokingly calls his son a “nepo kid.”The parody promo will wrap up with a surprise cameo by Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s son, Azad Rao Khan, making a brief appearance at the end of the video.
