The makers of 'Ek Din' released the poster featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi on Thursday. Soon, it became a topic of discussion on Reddit. The poster received mixed reactions from the audience. A section of people expressed that the makers put no effort and copied the same poster as the original film. Some even commented on the title of the romance drama.
A netizen wrote, "The poster looks exactly the same." Another commented, "Remake of Thai movie—original movie ke poster hi use kiya hai (The original movie’s poster itself has been used)." A person wrote, "Title bhi wahi translate karke utha liya (They’ve simply translated and used the same title)." A comment read, "Original Thai movie was called 'One Day'. Inn logo ne ek din kardiya (They translated it to One Day).
" A Reddit user added, "Poster is also copied. AI should really take over. Real creators are busy copying frame by frame."

More about 'Ek Din'
The movie is a remake of a Thai film titled 'One Day', directed by Banjong Pisanthanakun. It is set to hit theaters on May 1, 2026. Directed by Sunil Pandey, Aamir Khan has backed the project. The movie was supposed to arrive in cinemas in November 2025; however, Aamir decided to push the release.
Reportedly, the movie was titled 'Mere Raho' initially. Meanwhile, for those unaware, Junaid marked his debut as an actor with 'Maharaj' in 2024 and then starred in 'Loveyapa' in 2025.
