It is a bittersweet time for Juhi Chawla. The

actress

will be seen next in ‘Sharmaji Namkeen’, which will be Rishi Kapoor’s last film on the big screen. The film will be released on Kapoor’s 69th birth anniversary in September.

Juhi

completed the film some time ago and said that the dramedy will always be close to her heart. Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30 last year after a long battle with cancer and had shot for the film months before his untimely death.

In an interview, Juhi said that the film would release on September 4 and added that the film’s producers, Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Honey Trehan, had worked hard to ensure that the film releases on Kapoor’s birth anniversary. The actress said that the film had one of the funniest and sweetest scripts she had ever read, and she had immediately agreed to be a part of it. She also said that the dialogues would immediately strike a chord with audiences and make them smile. Juhi added that the role had been tailor-made for Kapoor, who did a fabulous job in the film. The film was shot in Delhi and the actress revealed that the entire cast and crew had a lovely time shooting in the Capital. In the 90s, Rishi Kapoor and Juhi starred in several films together including ‘Bol Radha Bol’ and ‘Eena Meena Deeka’.
