Jr NTR injured: 'WAR 2' actor hurt during shoot; advised 'couple weeks rest'

Tollywood superstar Jr NTR sustained a minor injury while on the sets of an Ad shoot at Annapurna 7 Acres in Hyderabad.

According to reports, the 'War 2' actor sustained an injury, allegedly after he slipped from a platform during the shoot. News of the incident spread rapidly on social media, with fans expressing their concern, while others worried about his condition. Amidst the social media chatter, his team, quickly issued a clarification.

Team issues statement

"Mr NTR sustained a minor injury today while shooting for an advertisement. On medical advice, he will be resting for the next couple of weeks. We would like to assure that his condition is stable and there is no cause for concern," the official statement read.

No further details about the nature of the injury were revealed, but the statement went on to ask fans and the media "to refrain from any speculation."

Jr NTR himself has yet to comment publicly.

He is also reportedly set to work with director Nelson Dilipkumar and has discussions ongoing for a potential film with Trivikram Srinivas.
