Riya Sen, Sanjay Suri, Rahul Bose and Shayan Munshi are already in the city for a countdown to their lilting musical, Jhankaar Beats, which releases this Friday.
1x1 polls
Their chosen venue: Bottles & Chimney.

The actors will be there for a special rendezvous with guests over lunch and of course, the party that will continue later in the evening.

The team, we hear, has been on a promo tour during the last few days. But, for Hyderabad, they have something special in store. They are here to make sure that the guests go back with lot of fond memories.

Unlike most events where the VVIPS make a short, crisp presence and bid a quick adieu, the Jhankaar Beats team will take the select guests through the day.

What Bottles & Chimney has put together is a completely interactive event aptly called Joyfully Jhankaar. The lead stars of the film Rahul Bose, Riya, Sanjay Suri and Shayan Munshi will be present to meet the guests. If you drop by at Bottles & Chimney for the scrumptious lunch buffet, which comes with a free drink, you’ll be in for a surprise. You’ll get to brush shoulders with the stars, have a short tête-à-tête and even an autograph.

The masti doesn’t end with lunch. The actors will be back in the evening to get the place grooving for the evening, participating in Krazy Karaoke and also play their favourite numbers. And if you have a question or two to ask the cast, they’d be more than willing to field them. Plus, there are a few surprise freebies for the participants.

For the uninitiated, here’s a quick look at the film. Jhankaar Beats is a slice-of-life film that revolves around issues that are very ‘today’ and is centred on three friends who aim to win the annual Jhankaar Beats music event. Breaking away from Bollywood’s mushy regulars, the film takes a realistic look at love, marriage, divorce and ambitions. Apart from the stars we mentioned, the film stars Juhi Chawla and Rinkie Khanna.

Produced by Pritish Nandy Communications and distributed by 20th Century Fox, the film has already made waves nationally and internationally.

It has won the RAPA award for the best TV promo and has been selected for Bite-the-Mango film festival in UK, organised by National Museum of Photography, Film and Television.
