Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce, Sarah Jessica Parker: When international celebrities endorsed Indian designers

Indian designers are leaving an incredible mark on the international arena with their unique creations. Popular Hollywood celebrities are endorsing outfits made by popular designers like Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla and Sabyasachi to name a few. From Jennifer Aniston, Beyonce and Sarah Jessica Parker, take a look at celebrities who endorsed Indian designers:

Sarah Jessica Parker decked up in a stunning maroon and cobalt lehenga by Falguni Shane Peacock, for a scene in ‘Sex and the City’ reboot ‘And Just Like That…’. Her designer ensemble featured chequered patterns on the sleeves and a grand lehenga with motifs inspired from Udaipur’s grand palaces. She completed her look with lilac sandals, a velvet potli and a braid.

In 2016, Beyonce made a glamorous appearance in Coldplay's ‘Hymn for the Weekend’, decked in a glorious ensemble, crafted by Indian designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. The singer wore a skin net lotus sequins hand embroidered dress embellished in gold sequins and crystals lined in red. Beyonce’s floor length coat was hand embroidered in gota, beads and multicoloured resham and appliqué work.

For a wedding sequence in her upcoming OTT film ‘Murder Mystery 2’, Jennifer Aniston was required to wear a lehenga and she opted for an ivory chikankari lehenga featuring intricately embroidered floral motifs. This Manish Malhotra lehenga came with a matching blouse, featuring pearl droplets and a handmade back tassel. Jennifer’s lehenga reportedly took over three months to be made.

For a magazine photoshoot, Kim decided to dress up in a glittering red saree by India’s popular designer Sabyasachi. Her red-hot drape was hand embroidered by 28 zardosi karigars from Calcutta. Metallic sequins and beads were embellished on the chiffon saree. For this photoshoot, Kim also wore a glamorous lehenga designed by Anamika Khanna.
