Jayam Ravi turns to action
Jayam Ravi, the sweet romantic hero, is turning into an all out action hero with Dhaam Dhoom. The film, directed by the late Jeeva is Ravi’s first full fledged action movie.
The film has two heroines ��� Lakshmi Rai, who appears in the flashback as the village girl and Kangana Ranuat, the city slicker.
The main villain is going to be Malayalam comedy hero Jayaram.
It is going to be a big test for Ravi, as his romantic boy-next-door image have always worked for him, in films like Santosh Subramaniyam.
But those who saw some rushes of the film say Ravi is lightning fast in the action scenes, and has a toned down muscular look for the film. His next release, Pearanmai also has him playing a Rambo-style vigilante in a
forest.
