Jaya Bachchan’s witty take on Budget 2024: "This is just drama"

During an interaction with ANI outside the Parliament, Jaya Bachchan was asked about her reaction to Budget 2024.True to her straightforward nature, she responded with a touch of humor, saying, "I have no reaction; ye koi budget hai reaction karney wala? It is just drama. Promises that are kept on paper will never be implemented."

Aside from her political engagements, Jaya Bachchan recently made a spiritual visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. On July 11, she was spotted with her son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, and daughter, Shweta Bachchan, seeking blessings at the revered temple.

Abhishek complemented the family’s traditional attire with a white kurta pyjama paired with a black Nehru jacket, embodying the cultural and spiritual significance of their visit.
On the cinematic front, Jaya Bachchan was last seen in Karan Johar's ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. The movie was headlined by Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as Rocky and Rani and had Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi alongside Jaya Bachchan in pivotal roles.
