Taking a look back on the 52-year journey she has shared with her husband, she explained that Amitabh’s personality is strikingly different from hers and that’s exactly what drew her to him. She described herself as outspoken and expressive, while Amitabh prefers restraint and silence, speaking only when required and with perfect timing. According to Jaya, their contrasting natures became the foundation of their bond.
