Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' has amassed over Rs 700 crore at the worldwide box office. There is a lot of buzz that Atlee is coming up with the sequel to his blockbuster film 'Jawan'.
And now director Atlee has revealed that he has all the plans to make 'Jawan 2', but not so soon, and nothing has been planned. He also told Bollywood Life that he is overwhelmed with 'Jawan' getting acknowledged across the globe, but he is not planning to make 'Jawan 2' anytime soon.
Earlier, a report had suggested that Shah Rukh Khan is most excited about the sequel and Atlee has reportedly asked his writers to speed up the process. The report also stated that Vijay Sethupathi might not return for the 'Jawan' sequel.
Meanwhile, 'Jawan' is a father-son story that addresses social and political issues through its hero, essayed by Shah Rukh Khan. It also stars Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover and Mukesh Chhabra in pivotal roles.
