1. Yashomati Maiyya Se Bole Nandlala - Satyam Shivam Sundaram

The ones who are diehard fans of the era gone by, this will definitely be a soul soothing experience that will get you ready for the D-Day. The song sung by, the nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar herself, was a part of the film 'Satyam Shivam Sundaram' starring Zeenat Aman and Shashi Kapoor.

2. Govinda Aala Re - Bluff Master

Another classic to swear by when the season of festivities set in. This Shammi Kapoor starrer has been one of the most played songs during Janmashtami. Sung by the late legendary Mohd Rafi, the song is from the film 'Bluff Master' released in 1963. Saira Banu, Niranjan Sharma, Mohan Choti played pivotal roles in the film too.

3. Chandi Ki Daal Par - Hello Brother

This Salman Khan starrer song became a rage in the 90s when 'Hello Brother' released. Donning pink pants and a white tee, Salman tried to impress Rani Mukerji. While Salman Khan himself crooned the male version of the song, it was Alka Yagnik who sung the female part. Let us know if you think Salman has done a better job at singing in his latest films or for this one?

5. Go Go Govinda

This has to be the latest and the most favourite song picturized on Lord Krishna featuring Sonakshi Sinha and Prabhu Dheva. The actress had a fantastic dance face-off with her choreographer in the video which looks quite interesting. The song is a festival favourite and you will often hear it being played in your neighbourhood during Janmashtami.
