Janhvi Kapoor offers prayers at Tirupati temple with boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya on mom Sridevi's birth anniversary; presented with silk cloth- WATCH

Actress Janhvi Kapoor paid a heartfelt tribute to her late mother, Sridevi, by visiting the temple dedicated to Lord Venkateswara in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, on Tuesday. The visit, which has become an annual ritual of sorts for the young actress, was made on the occasion of Sridevi's birth anniversary.

Accompanied by her rumoured beau, Shikhar Pahariya, Janhvi headed to the temple where she offered prayers and sought blessings. After her darshan, Janhvi was reportedly honoured by members of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) at the Ranganayaka Mandapam, where she was presented with a silk cloth and received the prasadam as a token of blessings.



A video by IANS sees the actress dressed in a simple yet elegant yellow traditional saree, paired with a turquoise blouse featuring golden prints and a matching yellow border. She completed her look with golden earrings, a necklace, and a waist bracelet, embodying a timeless traditional style.



On her exit from the temple Janhvi was seen kneeling down and bowing. Beau Shikhar also followed in her lead. Janhvi was then seen handing over the red silk cloth to her security before walking to her car.

This annual visit holds deep significance for Janhvi, who continues to uphold the tradition of paying respects to her mother by seeking blessings at the temple on her birth anniversary. Sridevi, who remains a beloved figure in Indian cinema, is remembered fondly by her daughter and countless fans across the country.



Janhvi also took to her Instagram handle to share some pictures from her visit and penned a short message that read, "Happy birthday Mumma. I love you."
