Janhvi Kapoor is an actor I greatly admire: Hasleen Kaur

Janhvi Kapoor may make news more for her Kardashian style statement than her acting chops. However, her choice of cinema and performance in Mili was clutter breaking.

Her Miii costar Hasleen Kaur, who plays a cop in CAT, nods in affirmative as she says, “Janhvi is an actor I greatly admire. MILI had a 15-day shoot schedule, and majority of my sequences were with Janhvi. Our interaction was minimal but through our brief chats, we shared a rapport that was easygoing and nice. On set, I found her to be extremely effortless, unlike myself, and she was quite easy with her lines. While she did have a difficult job, it never reflected in her natural performance.”


She added, “Her makeup was minimal but she looked just as lovely in person as she does on TV. She was so natural in front of the camera. I had a great time shooting for MILI since it felt like a homecoming for me to be in Dehradun because my maternal grandparents are from there. It was special for me to be shooting on Rajpur Road, where they have a home because I spent many of my summer vacations there as a child.”
