Zoya Akhtar’s upcoming film, ‘The Archies’ is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies in Bollywood.
Earlier today, Suhana Khan posted a fresh poster of her maiden Bollywood project, co-starring Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, Vedang Raina, Yuvraj Menda and Mihir Ahuja among others. While the poster has been garnering rave reviews from all quarters, it is Janhvi Kapoor, who is going gaga over her little sister and took to to her IG handle to shower love on the debut actor.
Sharing a poster from the movie, Janhvi wrote, “Look at my baby she's a princess!!!! I can't wait for this I know all of you have killed it.”
Directed by Zoya Akhtar, the movie is inspired by the iconic Archie Comics. According to earlier reports, the movie will be based on the issue of deforestation. If one looks at the teaser, the movie is set in a jungle, and that is just not for aesthetics, it adds a lot of value to the entire narrative of the movie. It is said that despite the young cast, the movie touches upon important topics like environment and protecting our forests and nature conservation.
The Archies is co-written by Reema Kagti and Ayesha Devitre. Set in the 1960s, the movie is said to be a riot of music and drama. It is expected to release on OTT, sometime this year.
