Jaideep Ahlawat’s dream to work with Ajay Devgn comes true in Drishyam 3

Post the success of Pataal Lok, Jaideep Ahalawat has been on one ride after another be it Jaane Jaan or Jewel Thief or Maharaj or The Family Man. He would soon be seen sharing screen space with Ajay Devgn in Abhishek Pathak’s Drishyam 3. He steps into the shoes of Akshaye Khanna who stepped out of the film for few personal reasons.

Now not many are aware that Jaideep’s first film after completing his acting course was with Ajay Devgn in Priyadarshan’s Aakrosh and it has been his dream to work with him again. In a clip that is now going viral on social media, about two years ago Jaideep in his conversation with Rajeev Masand for Netflix back in 2023 revealed that he is a huge fan of Ajay Devgn and Kajol. He said , “ In my college days me and my gang , we used to be huge fans of Ajay Devgn sir and Kajol maam and the day they got married there was a huge celebration, we had called for cake etc. “




“ And in my first film I worked with Ajay sir,-it was a very small role and I wish that one day I get a chance to work with him. He is one of the most humble and secure actor.He knows where he stands and nobody is gonna look anywhere else… Jaha wo khade hai na, wo kuch nahi karenge aur aapki nigahen sirf unke upar jayegi ( no matter where he stands and even if he does nothing in the scene- your eyes will be only locked on him) “ he added.

And who said dreams don't come true

Jaideep’s next release is going to be Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis with Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. It is going to be an extremely special film as it is the final film of veteran actor Dhamrendra was passed away few weeks ago, the makers have organized a special screening of the film for the Deol family in the next few days.
