Jaideep Ahlawat did not believe Ranbir Kapoor or Varun Dhawan would ever take away any of his roles

Jaideep Ahlawat needs no special introduction. He is one such actor who has time and again proved his versatility with his brilliant acting.
In a recent interview with Miss Malini, Jaideep Ahlawat claimed that he does not believe in nepotism and that no star kid has ever taken away any of his roles.

When asked if nepotism had ever affected him personally, Jaideep Ahlawat expressed that he didn't believe Ranbir Kapoor or Varun Dhawan would ever take away any of his roles. He emphasized that one shouldn't be under the delusion that being a star kid automatically makes someone a good actor.

Ahlawat further added, “Wo bahar se bhi aata na tab bhi wo Ranbir Kapoor banta. (Even if he had been an outsider, he would have become Ranbir Kapoor."

The 'Paatal Lok' star also mentioned that he did not enter the industry to become another Ranbir Kapoor. Similarly, he believes it is wrong for any girl to enter the industry with the goal of becoming the next Alia Bhatt. "I am not the second Ranbir Kapoor; I am the first Jaideep Ahlawat," he expressed.

Jaideep Ahlawat is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie 'Maharaj,' which also features Aamir Khan’s son, Junaid Khan, making his debut. Recently, the makers dropped the first poster of Maharaj on social media. The poster features actor Jaideep Ahlawat and Aamir Khan's son, Junaid Khan.

Directed by Siddharth P. Malhotra, Maharaj has been backed by Yash Raj Films, and it is slated to release on June 14 on Netflix.
