Remember Tania Zaetta? She���s the same actress who played Arshad Warsi���s feisty firang wife in Salaam Namaste.
She���s also the same person who made headlines a year ago for her alleged romps with Australian forces posted in Afghanistan, during a concert tour. She���d told DT in an interview then that she was shocked and wouldn���t take it lightly, ���I need an apology.I was doing a selfless job out there.���
The latest from Ms Zaetta is that she���s reached an out-of-court settlement with the newspaper that had claimed the Aussie Defence Department was investigating the case. ���I���ve finally got justice! The Defence Department has apologised to me, and made a public statement that the allegations were totally false,��� she says. ���I���m very satisfied with the settlement with the paper. I look forward to being able to concentrate on my career, both in television in Australia and in Bollywood films.��� Tania says she���s considering a Bollywood offer, but can���t talk much about it till it���s finalised. ���I have great respect for India and the opportunities I got there. We are currently in negotiations about new Bollywood roles and I���m really looking forward to returning to India as soon as possible,��� she adds.
