Last week, there are buzz about
Priyanka Chopra being approached by the office of Assam Tourism Development, and there were rumours that the '
Quantico
' star was charging Rs. 1.5 crore a day for the campaign. And since it was a 10-day ad film campaign, the
actress
was to pocket a whopping Rs. 15 crore from the same. However, it was only recently that the office of the state Tourism Development has sent a letter that states that the media reports about her charging that amount were rather false.
Her spokesperson also added that although the actor has been approached for the same, there have no talks about the money yet. The actor who has been associated with several causes in the past was kicked about the campaign, as it was to promote tourism of an Indian state. However, PC will not be in the country until December this year, as she is working the second season of 'Quantico' as well as awaiting the release of her Hollywood movie. She does want to be a part of the campaign, like the others ' Amitabh Bachchan for Gujrat Tourism, Aamir Khan for Incredible India and so on.
