titled Saint of Varet shows the aftermath of the pandemic, yet underlines the positive side of this phase. The shoot of the film was recently wrapped up.
The film stars Vijay Bhatia, who is playing the lead, along with
Roshni Chaubey
, Prasad Mali, Mansi Parekh, Vije Bhatia, Shalvi Shah Revati Iyer and Munnawar Bhagat in pivotal roles.
The story revolves around a young guy who is part of the Bollywood fraternity. He returns to his native place after facing hardships in his life. In fact, he even decides to end his own life. But destiny has its own plans. He encounters a miracle of sorts and sees his life getting back on track. He decides to help the society by sharing his experiences, and he becomes a Saint of Varet. The movie showcases the importance of not losing hope, come what may, and believing in the almighty.
The post production process of the project is currently underway. Bhagat, who is known for Marathi films like Nivdung and Gaav Pudhe is intending for a theatre release only. The story, screenplay and dialogues are penned by him too. The DOP is Arvindsinh Puvar and the music is composed by Amit Anil Biswas.
