It’s a wrap for ‘Chhapaak’, director Meghna Gulzar says she will carry Malti and Anmol with her

The camera has finished rolling on the sets of Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapak’, and the entire team is happy on completing the project. Director Megna Gulzar has taken to her Twitter handle to share her contentment. She shared a picture of her with the lead cast - Deepika Padukone a.k.a ‘Malti’ and Vikrant Massey a.k.a Anmol, and wrote that she will carry them with her.

The director tweeted, “And we wrapped #Chhapaak Malti... Amol... I will carry you with me. Thank you for your faith and for pouring yourself into our film!”


Yesterday, Deepika Padukone also took to her social media handle and shared the last day picture with the message, “& it’s a wrap on THE MOST PRECIOUS film of my career...see you all at the movies!�� 10.1.2020 #Chhapaak”


Slated to release on January 10th, next year, ‘Chhapaak’ is the story of the

acid attack survivor

Laxmi. She, who suffered from an acid attacked in 2005, today is a well-known advocate of stricter punishments in acid attack cases. Deepika Padukone will be seen playing her part in the movie. Besides the lead actor, Deepika is also the co-producer of the film.
