It’s a new ball game for Lara, Dino

This bit of news is as delightful as it is strange.
Lara Dutta and Dino Morea, old friends from Bangalore and now Bollywood���s new couple, have been invited by the National Basketball Association of US to attend its highly contentious LA Lakers vs New Jersey Net match this month. The NBA is North America���s premier professional men���s basketball league, in terms of popularity, it is as huge as a cricket or soccer World Cup.
The couple leaves for New York City on 21st, and when they return, they will be expected to promote basketball back home. Dino, who is a weekend basketball player in Bandra, said in excitement, ���Can���t tell you how thrilled we are, especially since we are going to be meeting our favourite player, Kobe Bryant of LA Lakers.��� Lara, who will also be shooting for her film Blue in NYC, said, ���Even I���m excited, I���ve played basketball in school.���
The couple is also looking at spending quality time in NYC. As for promoting basketball back home, Dino claims that the NBA has interest in India and would like him to take an active role in promoting the sport here. He said, ���We have great basketball talent languishing here due to lack of finance.���
