Ishaan Khatter is back in the spotlight following the recent release of his OTT series 'The Royals', as he was spotted enjoying a luxury ride in his brand-new sports car around the city.

The actor was seen cruising through the streets of Mumbai in his sleek yellow sports car and did not miss the chance to pose for the paparazzi while stepping out of his luxurious vehicle. He was dressed in a beige shirt paired with black trousers and struck a stylish pose for the cameras. His new car, worth Rs 81.37 lakh, has become the centre of attention, with fans calling it a dream ride. Many admirers expressed their love and respect for his grand entry in the luxury car.

Meanwhile, Ishaan recently made his debut at the prestigious 78th Cannes Film Festival, where his film Homebound—also featuring Vishal Jethwa and Janhvi Kapoor—was screened in the Un Certain Regard section.


About 'The Royals'

On the professional front, Ishaan was last seen in 'The Royals', directed by Priyanka Ghose and Nupur Asthana, and written by Neha Veena Sharma. The series also starred Bhumi Pednekar, Zeenat Aman, Sakshi Tanwar, Nora Fatehi, Vihaan Samat, Dino Morea, and Milind Soman in key roles. However, it received mixed reviews from audiences and critics due to its weak scripting and casting choices.

In an interview with ETimes, Priyanka Ghose responded to the ongoing criticism surrounding Bhumi Pednekar’s role in the series. “I still stand by the decision to cast her because I think it was a great call from my team. My producers and Netflix sensed that Bhumi is someone they could approach for something like this. She's the queen of heartland India and has always taken on extremely intense, serious, and emotionally heavy stories and roles. So, we felt Bhumi would be open to something lighter,” she stated.
