Is Shraddha Kapoor set to tie the knot with Rahul Mody? Her aunt Tejaswini Kolhapure reacts
Rumours about a possible wedding between Shraddha Kapoor and writer Rahul Mody have been doing the rounds for quite some time, sparking excitement among fans eager for an official announcement. However, the latest update from within the family suggests that nothing has been confirmed yet.
In a recent interaction, Shraddha’s aunt, Tejaswini Kolhapure, addressed the ongoing speculation. She reacted with amusement when asked about the wedding rumours, and said in an interview with Free Press Journal, “Really, I don’t know about it. I have no idea about it."
Tejaswini also reflected on Shraddha’s contribution to the family’s artistic legacy. She acknowledged the strong foundation laid by Padmini Kolhapure and praised how Shraddha has carried it forward. “Of course, it is a lovely feeling. I think everybody has added to this. Padmini (Kolhapure) was the first one. To see the kind of stardom that Padmini had, that era was different; you can’t compare that to what you see now. Of course, Shraddha has taken it ahead. We are very happy with how the family name is carried forward," she shared.
Despite persistent chatter about a wedding, neither Shraddha nor Rahul has publicly confirmed any such plans. That hasn’t stopped fans from constantly asking about it, especially on social media.
During a recent interaction online, one fan directly asked Shraddha, “When will you get married?" The actress responded in her signature playful style, saying, “Main karoongi, you vivah karoongi (I will get married)," a reply that quickly went viral.
Meanwhile, Shraddha has subtly acknowledged her relationship with Rahul. She recently shared a fun video featuring the two of them, where Rahul playfully zooms in and out on her face as she looks into the camera, even cheekily saying, “Hatt."
Buzz around their romance first began in early 2024 when they were spotted together after a dinner outing in Mumbai. Since then, they’ve made multiple appearances together, including at the pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, as well as at private screenings—only adding fuel to the speculation.Get the latest entertainment updates from the Times of India, along with the latest Hindi movies, upcoming Hindi movies in 2026 , and Telugu movies.”
