Filmmaker Karan Johar
recently announced that his production house will launch
Sanjay Kapoor’s daughter
Shanaya Kapoor in their next project.
Now, we hear that she will star alongside
Gurfateh Pirzada of ‘
Guilty
’ fame and
Lakshya of ‘
Dostana
2’.
Also, the film is on the same lines of ‘Dostana’ and it will be shot abroad. It will be helmed debutant director
Paras
.
The film will go on floors this July. Earlier, Shanaya has worked as an assistant in Janhvi Kapoor’s 'Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl’. She also made an appearance in a web series featuring her mommy Maheep Kapoor.
The star kid was set to make her
debut
in 2020, but waited it out owing to the pandemic and lockdown.
Meanwhile, wishes poured in from all quarters. From Janhvi, Anshula Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, sending in their notes of love and spreading the excitement about her upcoming debut. BFF Ananya Panday also joined in and penned a not of love for her bestie that read, “My baby girl!!! Kill it Shanicakes!”
