However, according to the latest report, re-dubbing a certain parts of the film is the reason behind the sudden date change. Reportedly, the makers seem to be re-dubbing certain portions of the film to connect better with the masses. As Abhishek Chaubey is known for his realistic touch, the dialect which was used in the film was authentic and it was realised that it is difficult for people to understand who are new to the language. So in order to connect the viewers with the film, it was necessary to make changes in the language so that it becomes easy for audience to understand. Thus, the makers are re-dubbing the major parts of the film.

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the film starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar in lead also features Manoj Bajpayee, Ranvir Shorey and Ashutosh Rana in prominent roles. The film is set during the Emergency period of the 70s which revolves around the story from Chambal and its gangsters.
