Is Katrina Kaif set to make a comeback after the birth of son Vihaan Kaushal? The actress is looking for scripts in the OTT space

Actor Katrina Kaif is reportedly preparing to step back into the spotlight after embracing motherhood, and her next venture could potentially be in the digital space. As per a latest report, the actress has begun reviewing scripts once again and is being selective about the projects she chooses for her comeback.

“Katrina Kaif is back to reading scripts after embracing motherhood recently. The actress is reportedly planning to return to a film set by the second half of 2027 and is actively looking for the right script, something that is worth her time. For the same, she seems interested in exploring streaming projects that could provide better opportunities for actors," a source was quoted saying by India Today.





If the discussions move forward, the project would mark Katrina’s first-ever foray into the streaming world. While many Bollywood actors have successfully balanced theatrical releases with OTT content, Katrina has yet to headline a long-format digital series or film.

The source further revealed that the actor is taking her time before committing to a new project, prioritising stories and characters that fit her current phase of life as both an artist and a mother.

Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas (2024), where she starred opposite Vijay Sethupathi. Since then, she has largely stayed away from the public eye, though anticipation surrounding her next professional move has continued among fans.

The actor, who married Vicky Kaushal in 2021, recently entered a new chapter of her life with motherhood. Over the years, she has delivered several memorable performances in films such as Welcome (2007), Race (2008), Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011), Ek Tha Tiger (2012), and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), cementing her position as one of Hindi cinema’s biggest stars.
