There’s been much buzz around Hansika Motwani’s activities ever since the news of her tying the knot came out. The actress is set to get married to her long-time boyfriend, Mumbai-based businessman Sohael Khaturiya on December 4. The ceremonies of the wedding, which will be a grand three-day affair at Jaipur, are set to kick off with Mata Ki Chowki today with family and close friends in attendance at a suburban club in Mumbai.

Speculations are, however, rife about the couple’s honeymoon plans and destination. A source close to them reveals, “I heard that she plans to see the Northern Lights with her husband on their honeymoon.”
The Northern Lights, or the aurora borealis, are beautiful dancing waves of light seen in the sky.
The source adds, “The Northern Lights have always been on her bucket list, which she mentioned during a photo shoot recently. When we asked her if her honeymoon plans included the Northern Light sightings, as it is at its peak in December, she blushed and said, ‘Maybe’.”
While the source is convinced that Hansika’s honeymoon includes the Northern Lights, the country from where she plans to see it is not clear. Also called polar lights, this natural phenomenon can be seen in places closer to the Arctic Circle, which include Alaska, Canada, Iceland, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, and Finland.
Hansika started her career as a child artiste in Hindi television and cinema, including ‘Koi...Mil Gaya’, and ‘Aap Kaa Surroor’. A popular name in the south, she has dabbled in Tamil and Telugu cinema. She has featured in several films like ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ (Tamil), ‘Denikaina Ready’ (Telugu), and ‘Singam II’ (Tamil).
