In an interview with Mid-Day, Boman Irani was asked if a sequel to '3 Idiots' is in the works. To which, the veteran actor shared that he has no confirmed information on the same yet. He further added, "Whatever Rajkumar Hirani [director] chooses to do, I’ll be there for him." Well, this statement was enough for all the fans of the movie to still hope that the sequel might happen.

Talking about the same, the actor told the publication, "The new director is doing a fantastic job. The spirit of the story is intact."
