Irrfan's next starring Pakistani actress postponed indefinitely

The debate over the presence of Pakistani artists in Bollywood refuses to die down. While 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' and 'Raees' are sailing on choppy waters as both films feature Pakistani actors, there are some Bollywood projects which might not take off anytime soon as actors from across the border had been cast in them.
Among these films is the Irrfan Khan-starrer 'Hindi Medium,' which has now been postponed indefinitely.Reason being the association of a Pakistani artist in the film.
The makers of 'Hindi Medium' had cast Saba Qamar, who hails from Pakistan, in the lead role. It was supposed to be directed by 'Pyaar Ke Side Effects' director Saket Chaudhry. But the project has been put on the back-burner for now.
