The team of 'Madaari' recently hosted a screening for their industry colleagues. The thriller, which sees Irrfan and director Nishikant Kamat team up again after the award-winning 'Mumbai Meri Jaan' (2008), is garnering praises from the fraternity.
While the film is about taking a stand and shouldering responsibility, it also showcases the bond between a father and son.

It strikes the perfect balance between a thriller and an emotional drama.
Apart from its strong storyline and hard-hitting performances by Irrfan and Jimmy Sheirgill ' who will be seen on screen together after the much-acclaimed Haasil ' the Vashu Bhagnani distributed film is also earning praise for child artiste Vishesh Bansal.
Amitabh Bachchan, who watched it, said, 'Madaari' is a very good film.' Echoing his sentiment, Shah Rukh Khan wished the team, 'All the best for a good release.'
Tabu enthused, 'Irrfan's performance is fantastic. Nishikant has made a very good film.' Calling the movie 'amazing', Rajkummar Rao added, 'Madaari' is so relevant. And Irrfan is beyond amazing.'
Moved by the film, Kriti Sanon said she was short of words for the actor-producer. 'Irrfan's eyes are so expressive that you can't get enough of him. The chemistry between him and his reel son is very cute,' she said. Dia Mirza said, 'I hope every Indian watches this film.'

Irrfan, who decided to produce it as he was intrigued by the subject, is thrilled with the feedback from the industry.
