Irrfan in a tight situation
A top apparels brand wanted Irrfan to walk the red carpet at a awards ceremony in California in a tuxedo designed by them. But the tux was too tight for Irrfan’s comfort.
The actor who, has been nominated in the best actor category for his performance in Mira Nair���s The Namesake, was all set to wear a stylish tuxedo. But unfortunately he had to forego it in the eleventh hour as it was a size or two too small for him.
Our sources say, ���Gas Apparels were very keen on having Irrfan walking the red carpet in their costume.
The source adds, ���Irrfan was quite excited about the idea and gave them the go-ahead. Officials from Gas visited him on the sets of his upcoming film, Chamku and took his measurements. They also came up with a readymade costume for him. However, when Irrfan tried that on, he found it too loose and asked them to get a new one made.���
A couple of days back when the people from Gas came back with the altered costume, Irrfan found it ill-fitting again. This time, it was too tight.
