In <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Bewafaa</span>, Kareena Kapoor finds herself married to her dead sister''s husband though she harbours feelings for her boyfriend. <br /><br />In <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Maqbool</span>, Tabu is mistress to a don but is in love with his right hand man. In <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Tum</span>, Karan Nath lives in with his girlfriend but is in love with a married woman.<br /><br /> In <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Musafir</span>, Sameera Reddy is a married woman who has relationships with four men.<br /><br />Infidelity has often been explored in Hindi movies but rarely has it involved the lead pair. ''''Films exploring extra-marital complexities have been few and far in between,'''' says Sameera, ''''This attracted me to the role.'''' <br /><br /></div> </div><div class="section2"><div class="Normal">Simultaneously, <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Jism </span>producer Pooja Bhatt rubbishes theories that infidelity as a plot banks on the show of skin to be a success. ''''This might be the initial impression, but there has to be strong content.'''' <br /><br />Talking of content, distributor Sanjay Mehta says, ''''Films with infidelity as the theme are primarily appreciated only in cities.''''<br /><br />Says trade analyst Taran Adarsh, ''''At times, the audience might be led to believe that a character is cheating on his or her partner while this is not the case.'''' <br /><br />Adds trade analyst Indu Mirani, ''''Bollywood might be getting bolder, but this is no indication of maturity. We will have to wait to see if the films in the pipeline have depth.'''' <br /><br />But with on-screen couples discovering the forbidden fruit, the box-office hopes for a sweet taste in the mouth.</div> </div>
