According to the PinkVilla report, the producer is in talks with IMAX to join as a partner. The storyline revolves around the successful maritime operation in 1971 when the Indian Navy, under the command of Babrubhan Yadav and Admiral Nanda, bombed the Karachi port, altering the course of the Bangladesh war. Big stars are being approached for the lead roles, and the film is set to start filming in April.
Vikramaditya Motwane was recently garnering appreciation for directing the critically acclaimed period drama web series 'Jubilee.' The drama featured a stellar cast including Aparshakti Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Aditi Rao Hydari, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Sidhant Gupta, and Ram Kapoor. It is based on the compelling book 'Black Warrant' by Sunetra Choudhary and Sunil Gupta.
