Amitabh Bachchan's grandson Agastya Nanda is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Sriram Raghavan's 'Ikkis'. The film will be the last movie of the late legendary actor, Dharmendra. Ahead of its release in the theaters, the war drama's OTT partner has been revealed. Let's learn more about it.
The makers are yet to announce the OTT premiere date as of now.
The movie is based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal, who was martyred during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. He was honored with the Param Vir Chakra, posthumously, which is the highest military award. The movie's title refers to the age at which the army official was martyred.
The war drama also stars Ekavali Khanna, Shree Bishnoi, Vivaan Shah, Sikandar Kher, Aryan Pushkar, Simar Bhatia, and Mansi Chawla.
The movie also stars Jaideep Ahlawat in a key role. The movie will clash with Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday's 'Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri'.
Talking to PTI, Sriram Raghavan stated that the movie will stay true to the real story and won't dramatize the life of the soldier. He said, "It’s not a comic-book hero version." He further shared, "It is a bigger production; there will be tank battles and all those things that happen in a war film. But it is also a human story; it’s a drama, a coming-of-age kind of a thing."
