IIFA 2018: Arjun Kapoor, Anil Kapoor comfort Boney Kapoor as he breaks down receiving Sridevi's award

IIFA Awards took place recently in Bangkok. This year too, the event was an extravaganza night with several celebrities gracing the occasion. Renowned actors like Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ranbir Kapoor, Rekha, Karthik Aryan and Ayushmann Khurrana added their charm to the event.
Evidently, it was an emotional moment for the Kapoors when they accepted the Best Actress award on behalf of the legendary actor Sridevi.Producer and husband Boney Kapoor, who accepted the award on behalf of his late wife, got emotional as he took the trophy honouring the yesteryear actor. As reported by an agency, with tears rolling down his eyes he averred that he would like to dedicate the award to the entire team of ‘MOM’. He added that he has mixed emotions and that he truly misses Sridevi every minute and second of his life.
The actor, who passed away on the night of February 24 in Dubai, was honoured posthumously for her character in the 2017 crime thriller film ‘MOM’, co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a key role.
Boney's brother Anil Kapoor and his son Arjun Kapoor also comforted him on-stage as he broke down receiving the award.
